Releasing film after film of action-packed movie goodness, Jason Statham has to be one of my favourite actors of all time.  Each one of his films is pure excitement from beginning to end.

Some of my favourites include The Transporter (1 & 2), Crank, Snatch and The Italian Job (2003).  With the pending release of Transporter 3 (already released in the US) and Crank 2 (April 17th 2009 in the UK) 2009 is going to be a great year for Statham.

He wouldn't suit any other genres.  I hope he keeps on doing these action films for a long time yet.  Saying that though, I thought the same of Vin Diesel - The Pacifier is the kids film he did - I don't dare watch it though.
