Did anyone see the movie version of Sweeney Todd?

I was amazed at how well Johnny Depp sang, but found out that his goals had originally been music oriented.

I also heard that he will be the Mad Hatter in another Tim Burton movie.  I assume it will be a version of Alice in Wonderland, but who knows.

Which is your favorite Johnny Depp performance?

It is Alice in Wonderland that he is shooting, due to be released in 2010.  From what I have seen, he can play any part really well - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Willy Wonka), Pirates of the Caribbean (Jack Sparrow).

He is somebody to keep an eye on as I can see him playing some amazing roles in the future - much like The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, where Johnny Depp, Jude Law, Colin Farrell and Heath Ledger all play the same person - I'm interested to see how that turns out.

Oh wow!

The Imaginarium sounds like a must see.  It already sounds extremely intense.

Did you see Depp in The Libertine?

Since starting these forums I'm coming across a massive list of films people are recommending that I haven't seen.  The Libertine is yet another one.
