I have mixed feelings about this movie.

On one hand I would like to see how the story is retold, but the previews look so intense that I fear being depressed through much of the plot.

Has anyone heard any snippets about this latest remake?

I have not heard any as of yet. i however, am seriously looking forward to seeing this show. Either way as long as they put a good enough spin on it I know it is going to be good. I am trying my best to not compare it to the ones that came before but individually and I know I am looking forward to seeing how the cast takes on this one.

It does not sound all that interesting to me as the original or the remake.

My husband said that he is impressed by the new "Gort", seen in previews.

I hve a feeling we will be purchasing this when it hits DVD, to add to our sci-fi collection.

From what I have seen, this movie looks like it could be good. The story is based on a quite a major event. So as long as the acting is good, the movie should be good.
