Well, if there had to be an X-Men spin off, Wolverine is the best character to start with, imho.

I didn't see the release date but I hope it is a bit edgier than the X-Men movies.

I am not much into the Xmen stuff, but it does sound interesting to have one with Wolverwine as the main focus.

There is potential for some great action films involving Wolverine as a major character in the three X-Men films, we found out how he became who he was but there was quite a lot we still didn't discover about him.  Maybe this could turn into something a series of films about each of the main characters and how they grew up and dealt with the discovery of their powers, all leading into them finding themselves at the 'school'.

I bet they could carry this off without becoming too redundant.  I would hate to see an X-Men series end up like The Matrix, where the action gets too predictable or good plots are sacrificed in favor of special effects!

There is so much they could still too with the X-Men. That is why I was surprised that they stopped at three movies. Word is though, that Magnito is getting his own movie as well.
